Vaulta
Your data

Delete your account.

You can erase everything from inside the app. No form, no waiting, no email needed.

In the app

  1. Open Vaulta and go to Settings.
  2. Find the section called Your account.
  3. Tap Delete account. It is marked “Erases everything, permanently”.
  4. The app asks “Delete your account?” Confirm with Delete everything.

What gets deleted

  • All data on the device: accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and conversations.
  • The encrypted store, if you had the passcode turned on.
  • If you signed in to a Vaulta account with a server, your server-side records are deleted too, including any bank connection tokens.

The sheet says it plainly: “This cannot be undone.” If you do not have an account on the server, only the device is wiped. If the server cannot be reached, the app warns you that the device is wiped but the server copy may remain, and asks you to try again with a connection.

Just disconnecting a bank

You can disconnect a single institution at any time, after which Vaulta stops receiving anything from it. You do not need to delete your account for that.

What deleting does not do

It does not cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel there at least 24 hours before renewal.

Asking us instead

If you cannot open the app, write to drbsiva@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with and ask for erasure. See also the privacy policy.
