These terms cover your use of the Vaulta app. Using Vaulta means you accept them.
The most important term. Vaulta is an information tool, not a financial adviser. It shows you your own money and explains what it sees. It does not give regulated financial advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
What Vaulta is
Vaulta reads accounts you choose to connect and presents balances, spending, budgets, debt terms and investments you log yourself. Bank connections are read-only: Vaulta cannot move, send or spend money on your behalf.
Not financial advice
- Figures, projections and payoff plans are estimates based on the data available, and may be wrong or out of date.
- The AI advisor produces general explanations from a summary of your finances. It is not a licensed adviser and can be mistaken.
- Investment values can fall as well as rise. Past performance says nothing about future returns.
- Before acting on anything you see here, check it against your bank or a qualified professional.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details and app passcode to yourself. If you enable the passcode, your data is encrypted with a key derived from it and cannot be recovered if you forget it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Connected institutions
Bank connections run through Salt Edge. Its own terms apply to its part of the service, and the accuracy and availability of data depends on your institution. Vaulta cannot guarantee that a connection stays working.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed for the period you choose and continue until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Purchases are made through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account. Vaulta Pro includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; Premium has no trial. The trial is an App Store introductory offer and converts to a paid Pro plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your App Store account settings. Pro costs $8 a month or $82.99 a year; Premium costs $20 a month or $214.99 a year (prices shown in the app at purchase are authoritative and may vary by region).
Acceptable use
Do not use Vaulta to break the law, to access accounts that are not yours, or to attack, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
Availability
Vaulta is provided as it is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or that every figure is correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using it.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which erases your data. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the app will tell you before the change takes effect.
